About hair-scrunchies, HeadBandits and Penny's Boutique

We started out with just hair-scrunchies.com in October 2004. That was more of a hobby for Penny until May 2009. Around that time, I started receiving inquiries from customers looking for silk scrunchies and scrunchies of special sizes. So I redesigned the website and traffic took off.

We have three seamstresses who make the scrunchies now but Penny is still a 'pill' when it comes to quality. Our focus is two-fold: a high-quality product and excellent customer service.

We've started making headbands, but are continuing our search for the best designs. We have quite a few designs still in the testing stage that we hope to introduce in the winter of 2010.

Additionally, we started Penny's Boutique because we're exploring new embroidered and customized products to offer. We are still testing and making prototypes but anticipate some fun new gift items to offer for the 2010 Holiday Season.
